a guide to finding the right bike

THE BASICS

Selecting the right bike for you can be broken down into a couple of key areas, but most important is that you understand what you want your bike to do for you and where it should take you.

We have designed our chassis kits to offer confidence and comfort, but your build kit will determine how the bike performs with you at the helm.

We have created some guideline spec options to try and help guide you towards the best choice for your riding background, and to achieve what you want from your new bike.

BACKROAD

Commuter by day, gravel grinder by weekend. For the rider who wants to keep fit and rack up the miles, whether that's during the week on their way to and from work, or at the weekend riding with their club tackling both on and off road miles between coffee stops and stat comparisons.

These bikes tend to suit riders who have come across from a ROAD background and now want to venture further off road.

The build kits are designed with long miles (30+) in mind, and keeping weight low wherever possible.

TRAIL

For the rider who wants to rip trail centre turns and loose dirt trails. It all about linking your favourite sections together on a short to medium length ride, minimal kit and coming back with mud on your face.

These bikes tend to suit riders who have some MTB (mountain bike) experience and are searching for something to offer a new twist on their local trails.

These bikes are designed with handling, agility and traction in mind, but can equally hold their own on the tarmac.
