LAKELANDER
Built in Northern Ireland
Named after Irelands premier gravel event which takes place in Fermanagh every October.
The Lakelander Gravel Grinder is one of the toughest off-road cycling challenges on the Island of Ireland and requires not only rock solid mental grit to complete the 100km route, but also places huge demands on each riders equipment.
Our vision for the Lakelander Frameset is to equip the rider with a lightweight, superfast bike that has everything you could need to tackle the relentless rolling hills that make the event so tough.
A hidden linkage integrated into the top-tube provides trail smoothing suspension to remove chatter and soften square edge impacts enabling you to focus on the trail ahead and conserve energy.
A serviceable aluminium linkage assembly provides lateral stiffness paired with a 30a durometer elastomer to manage the impacts being transferred through the rear wheel.
Frameset Specification
Frame
Using a blend of imported Toray T700 and T800 Carbon Fiber for the main chassis construction, and reinforced with T1000 at critical stress areas.
Featuring a 30a durometer elastomer guided by a hidden linkage, the Lakelander chassis absorbs trail chatter while retaining lateral stiffness for efficient pedalling at all speeds.
Weight: 1.51kg (L)
Fork
A sleek and aerodynamic fork designed for maximum speed, the construction is Toray T700 and T800 with a full carbon steerer tube and internal cable routing.
An aero style brake calliper guard protects your brake pads from the elements and helps add an extra watt or two to those long high speed descents.
Weight: 0.53kg
Seatpost
Lightweight, strong and providing a little additional compliance, our Carbon seatpost comes in 31.6mm and pairs perfectly with the Lakelander frameset.
Downtube Storage
An essential and invaluable asset when out on those longer distance events. Our built in downtube storage box is the perfect way to carry spares and repair kits to keep your jersey free and allow you to focus on the riding rather than the rattling of tyre plugs and CO2 canisters.
A waterproof zipped pouch is provided inside every frame to keep your spare parts in one place, and protected from the elements.
Headset
Utilising 2 large steel headset bearings to add stiffness and smooth steering.
The lakelander models come with a 700c wheelset, paired with tyres between 42c and 47c depending on which model you choose.
Max tyre clearance is 700x47c
