We packed up one of our Fustle Causeway Control demo bikes and shipped it out to the guys at Bikeperfect to see what they made of it. Read what Guy Kestevens thoughts on it where below.

I don’t often share my thoughts so bluntly, and if I’m honest, I mostly tend to sanitise each word that comes from my mouth.

This holiday season marks the end of year 3 since we launched Fustle to the public and it’s been both exciting and excruciating all at the same time. 

In the 2nd episode we travel to the hills of Gilnahirk just above Belfast City to visit Johnny Bradley of Elite Refinish.

Sit back and enjoy as we bring the frame through shot blasting and frame preparation, through to priming, painting and then finishing off with a silver leaf for the branding which should match perfectly to the Shimano GRX Limited Edition groupsets that will adorn the bikes when they are built.

Rollo Gillespie was one of the very first customers to buy a Fustle bike, he picked it up from The Yard in Rathfriland and very quickly become a  popular character, although we had yet to meet him other than on Instagram.

After suffering some very unfortunate ill health he has written some words of wisdom for us and given some insight into how cycling and the growing Fustle Family community have helped him through these tough times. 

Rollo has become a regular on our Fustle family ride outs and we count ourselves very lucky to have such a friendly, fun character join us on our rides. Turns out he is a really good tour guide too, as we found out on a recent ride from his local playground Gosford Forest Park).

What a day it was for our inaugural Fustle Family Ride Out! To say we were a little overwhelmed to see so many bikes roll up to our headquarters in Bangor, Northern Ireland would be an understatement. After several months, we finally managed to get a date in our calendar for a ride out and extended the invite to local customers who fancied joining us.
