So, one day I was minding my business at work before getting a phone-call to see if I was free to go record a video for a new brand of gravel bike called FUSTLE.
Arriving to the shoot and realising the bikes brakes where set up UK spec for a Spanish guy was terrifying haha. I remember Sandy (photographer) asking me to do wheelies and drifts and thinking that expectations are high for a guy who’s on a new bike with brakes the wrong way round!

Thankfully Aaron could see the fear on my face and changed the brakes around for me before we set off.
First up was a little sprint scene to brake me in, which was sweet… but then came that bloody rock section! I had to ride up this rock which in the video looks easy, but what you’d not see is the puddle before it which made it harder every time I had to re do it! But anyway, I got it done then thought happy days, job done.. but nope!

Sandy once again came up with something else, ‘do you think you can gap this’..in my head I was thinking, id struggle to gap this on my normal mountain bike never mind this new gravel bike. Thankfully Ali and Aaron where on hand to take the pressure off by saying it was far to slippy and greasy to be gapping and thankfully we all laughed it off!
But long story short, from that day I am now a full-time gravel bike guy!
